This contract position offers the chance to support learners’ growth and communication skills during the 2026-2027 academic year, with placements available in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas.

You’ll be part of a collaborative environment dedicated to student success, utilizing your expertise and creativity to make a lasting difference. This opportunity begins August 17, 2026, and concludes June 12, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 35 hours each week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates under supervision
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech-language assessment and intervention to students, individually and in group settings
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with district and state requirements
  • Engage with staff and families to promote generalization of skills and advocate for student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consultation, and ongoing professional development
