School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Alexandria, Virginia

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, or CFY supervision available
• Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within school teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor students’ progress toward goals
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support integration of therapy strategies in the classroom
• Offer guidance and education to families to support student growth
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
