Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement speech therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation, adhere to school and state requirements, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Deliver direct and consultative services in both group and individual settings
