What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP process, goal writing, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering assessments, evaluations, and direct/indirect therapy to a diverse caseload of students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) focusing on students’ communication goals
- Maintaining detailed records and preparing progress reports
- Consulting with educational staff and families on student needs and intervention strategies
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to a positive school community
- Staying current with best practices and continuing your professional development
