A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to support K-12 students for the school year, beginning September 21st and ending May 21st. Situated near Algoma, WI, this role offers a manageable caseload of 40-50 students and the convenience of working in a single school building. Your expertise will help foster communication skills and academic success for students across all grade levels.

Ideal candidates are comfortable in a school setting and are ready to work a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, aligning with regular school days.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin SLP License (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • ASHA Certification
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy models and IEP processes
  • Experience working with K-12 populations
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in Wisconsin schools is highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Complete assessments, documentation, and progress monitoring efficiently and thoroughly
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student engagement and progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
