Make an impact in educational settings bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to K-12 students for the upcoming full school year. This is a contract position where you'll work with diverse caseloads and provide essential support for students’ speech and language development. You'll have the benefit of onsite teacher assistant support, giving you the freedom to focus on assessments, intervention, and collaboration with school teams.

Desired qualifications:

  • Active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies for K-12 populations
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Compassionate approach and cultural competence with students and families
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations as part of initial and ongoing assessments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals using best practices
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain precise documentation and progress reports in compliance with policy and timelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-based support teams
  • Provide consultative support and guidance for classroom staff, leveraging onsite TA support
