This full-time contract opportunity allows you to work in four diverse buildings, supporting students from elementary through high school across general and special education populations. You’ll have the chance to collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families, providing vital services to help students develop communication and language skills essential for their academic and personal growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • Current or eligible SLP license (State of Michigan)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or ability to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those in general education, ASD, and CI programs
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies across varied classroom settings
  • Positive, patient, and collaborative approach

What you’ll do:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services for students in grades PK-12 across Lindemann (grades 3-5), Cabrini Elementary (K-8, possible preschool and high school), APMS, and APHS
  • Serve students in general education, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Cognitive Impairment (CI) programs
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain required documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic achievement and well-being
  • Consult and train teachers and families on speech-language strategies
