Job Type Contract

Make a meaningful difference in young learners’ lives by providing speech-language services as part of a passionate, collaborative team dedicated to early intervention. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to support preschoolers (with potential to work with older students throughout the academic year) through itinerant services in Carbon or Lehigh County. Assignments run from early July 2026 through mid-June 2027, following a year-round early intervention calendar.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current Pennsylvania SLP license and educator credential (Instructional I or II)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
  • Experience or strong interest in providing speech and language therapy in school settings
  • Flexibility to work across preschool, early intervention, and K-12 assignments as needed
  • Dedication to fostering communication growth in diverse student populations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and service teams
  • Strong documentation and organization capabilities

Your key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, in-person SLP services to eligible preschool students at various locations within Carbon or Lehigh County
  • Adapt to potential shifts in caseload, including support for school-age students as assignments change
  • Travel between sites as part of an itinerant caseload, ensuring a responsive approach to student needs
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and document progress
  • Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide guidance and resources to promote communication development beyond therapy sessions
  • Uphold compliance with program, district, and state guidelines

You’ll thrive in this role if you value adaptability, enjoy variety in your day-to-day work, and want to make a positive impact on students’ formative years.

If you’re energized by the prospect of supporting communication growth for early learners and are ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic educational environment, we encourage you to apply today!
