This contract opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience working in varied school settings with a diverse student population. You'll deliver itinerant speech-language services for preschoolers, with the flexibility to work with students from PreK through grade 12 throughout the school year, adapting to changing assignments as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license required.
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status.
- Previous experience in school settings or with early childhood populations is highly valued.
- Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating with peers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel within Carbon or Lehigh County to provide on-site services.
- Commitment to both in-person work and a flexible approach to caseload assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged children under early intervention guidelines.
- Monitor student progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and support achievement of IEP or intervention goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to foster positive outcomes and support generalization of skills.
- Adapt therapeutic interventions across various settings and grade spans as needed.
- Engage in professional development and mentorship opportunities to complete CFY requirements.
