School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Allentown, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact on young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, supporting preschool early intervention programs across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This contract opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience working in varied school settings with a diverse student population. You'll deliver itinerant speech-language services for preschoolers, with the flexibility to work with students from PreK through grade 12 throughout the school year, adapting to changing assignments as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license required.
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status.
• Previous experience in school settings or with early childhood populations is highly valued.
• Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating with peers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel within Carbon or Lehigh County to provide on-site services.
• Commitment to both in-person work and a flexible approach to caseload assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged children under early intervention guidelines.
• Monitor student progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and support achievement of IEP or intervention goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to foster positive outcomes and support generalization of skills.
• Adapt therapeutic interventions across various settings and grade spans as needed.
• Engage in professional development and mentorship opportunities to complete CFY requirements.
