Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners in a dynamic educational environment near Allentown, PA. You’ll provide vital speech-language services to children ages 3–5 across a range of needs, from articulation support to helping those with limited communication. The role offers a flexible schedule with up to 37.5 hours per week, with the possibility of adjusting hours to meet your availability. Services will be provided in child care settings, ensuring a collaborative atmosphere focused on early intervention.

Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure for schools
  • Recent experience working with preschool-aged children (3–5 years old) preferred
  • Background in articulation and language disorders; comfortable serving students with a full spectrum of communication needs
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, child-centered environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for children ages 3–5
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting diverse skill sets, from articulation to expressive and receptive language
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust goals to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Maintain clear records and contribute to IEP teams as needed
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers, staff, and other professionals in the child care setting to facilitate carryover and holistic support
  • Effectively manage a caseload of no more than 50 students, ensuring delivery of high-quality services

This contract position begins October 1, 2026, and continues through July 30, 2026. Daily hours are typically 7:45am to 3:15pm, with flexibility for the right candidate.
