Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are also welcome
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is desirable
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ speech and language therapy needs
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing individual IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and communication logs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education and general education teachers to support classroom strategies
- Provide education and resources to families and staff on effective communication strategies
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology
