Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving school-aged children in the Allentown, PA area. You will support students in achieving their communication goals and play an essential role in fostering academic and social success.

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated educators and families, assessing student needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing both direct and consultative services.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Maintain accurate progress reports and participate actively in IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student growth
  • Stay current on best practices and regulations in school-based SLP services
