Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Palmerton, PA | Grades 3–12

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. This position will serve students in grades 3–12 across two school locations and is a great opportunity for an SLP seeking a short-term school assignment.

Position Details:

• Assignment dates: December 13 – February 25
• Caseload of approximately 65 students
• Grades 3–12
• Consistent daily schedule across two school locations:
  • 7:15 AM – 9:00 AM: Junior High/High School
  • 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM: S.S. Palmer
• School-based setting
• Competitive weekly pay

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data and documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and school staff.
• Provide age-appropriate interventions to support students’ speech, language, and communication needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active or eligible Pennsylvania SLP license
• Appropriate school-based certification/credentialing
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students preferred
• Strong IEP, documentation, progress-monitoring, and organizational skills
