Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; supervised CFY candidates welcomed
- Experience with pediatric populations or K-12 student services
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and IEP processes
- Strong communicative, organizational, and rapport-building skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans in compliance with educational standards
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, supporting students’ academic achievement
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, maintaining timely records and student progress reports
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support communication development in various settings
