Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) licensure
  • In-depth knowledge of pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
  • Experience providing 1:1 speech therapy with pediatric populations
  • Prior exposure to school settings and familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes and documentation
  • Background in supervision, mentoring, or guiding other professionals or support staff
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language intervention services for students, addressing unique communication and developmental needs
  • Complete thorough assessments and contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of students’ IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with school and district requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive strategies that foster student growth
  • Provide supervision and guidance for assistants, paraprofessionals, or less experienced clinicians as required
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing your expert input and advocating for effective student support
