Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) licensure
- In-depth knowledge of pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
- Experience providing 1:1 speech therapy with pediatric populations
- Prior exposure to school settings and familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes and documentation
- Background in supervision, mentoring, or guiding other professionals or support staff
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language intervention services for students, addressing unique communication and developmental needs
- Complete thorough assessments and contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of students’ IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with school and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive strategies that foster student growth
- Provide supervision and guidance for assistants, paraprofessionals, or less experienced clinicians as required
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing your expert input and advocating for effective student support
