Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools near Altamont, TN as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). You’ll serve mostly elementary and some middle school populations, making an impact as you help young learners develop their communication skills. Expect to work collaboratively across 2-3 buildings, utilize your expertise in a school setting, and enjoy a dynamic, flexible environment.

Whether you hold your CCCs, are completing your CFY, or have hands-on experience as an SLPA, your commitment to helping children is what matters most. Compensation for this role ranges from $45 to $57 per hour, determined by your experience working within schools.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid and current SLP license or SLPA credential
  • Relevant school-based experience (elementary/middle school preferred)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), where applicable
  • Teletherapy experience is a plus
  • Pediatric and healthcare SLP or SLPA experience beneficial
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Passion for supporting student development

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services in both individual and group settings
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educators and families
  • Conduct assessments and document student progress
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding student needs
  • Serve as a resource for speech/language topics within your assigned buildings
