An exciting contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to provide high-quality speech and language services in a dynamic educational setting near Altha, FL.

This is a full-time position extending across the entire academic year, allowing you to build valuable, lasting relationships with students and school staff. Qualifications and Desired Experience

  • Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with children with diverse speech and language needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support each student’s progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and professional guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert input for student programs
