A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Amherst, MA, providing services in a school setting. This role supports students from pre-kindergarten through high school across three sites, with a caseload of approximately 50 students, though not all require direct therapy. The position includes both in-person and teletherapy service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload ranging from preschool to high school students.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Provide services across three different school sites.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience in school-based SLP roles, including teletherapy.
- Ability to manage a caseload of varied ages and needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule and Duration:
- Hours: 7:36 a.m. to 1:51 p.m.
- Contract duration: Immediate start with assignment through the end of the academic year.
- Interview availability: Thursdays and Fridays after 11 a.m.
