This contract position provides a chance to serve a diverse school community in a full-time, onsite role from August 2026 through June 2027. Essential Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC with school experience preferred)
- Demonstrated bilingual proficiency, with skills in assessment and intervention for diverse populations in a school setting
- Previous experience providing speech and language therapy in educational environments
- Ability to clear a drug screening, fingerprinting, and CORI/background check
- Dependable transportation for punctual onsite attendance each day
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with a wide range of speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy, progress monitoring, and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support culturally and linguistically diverse students, tailoring interventions for bilingual learners
- Maintain timely and detailed records that contribute to students’ educational growth
- Adhere to school policies and communicate proactively regarding absences or scheduling conflicts
