The position also provides Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervision for those working toward their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), making it an ideal opportunity for both experienced SLPs and recent graduates.
Desired Background & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Current or eligible SLP license in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered with supervision available
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings working with K-12 students
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation for various speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
- Commitment to providing inclusive, culturally competent services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in alignment with educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and stay compliant with school and state guidelines
- Communicate progress and recommendations to families and educational teams
- Provide support and resources to educators to promote students' success
