What you bring:

  • Possession of or eligibility for California licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certification as CCC-SLP, or qualifications to practice as a Clinical Fellow (CFY accepted)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred, though not required
  • Energetic, compassionate approach to working with children from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and document outcomes
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student needs
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff on supporting student communication in the classroom
