This full-time, contract opportunity offers in-person support for the entire 2026-2027 school year, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You'll work directly with elementary-aged children, helping them develop crucial communication skills that set the foundation for academic and social success.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid California SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • Pediatric experience, with school-based exposure highly valued
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and experience with caseload management
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to supporting a diverse student population

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal development
  • Maintain thorough documentation for compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Monitor and report on student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure requirements
