Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active SLP license in the state
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students using standardized tools to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative services across various settings (individual, small group, in-class)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for program planning
