Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) licensure
  • Authorization or certification to work in elementary school settings
  • Experience with children in a school-based environment is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and create individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of speech, language, and communication skills for elementary school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's unique requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ academic success
  • Provide direct therapeutic intervention and monitor progress toward treatment goals
  • Maintain accurate records, document sessions, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing professional development
