Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) licensure
- Authorization or certification to work in elementary school settings
- Experience with children in a school-based environment is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and create individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of speech, language, and communication skills for elementary school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's unique requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ academic success
- Provide direct therapeutic intervention and monitor progress toward treatment goals
- Maintain accurate records, document sessions, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing professional development
