Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active SLP-CCC license required
  • Certified and licensed to practice in school settings
  • Previous experience with elementary-age children preferred
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for speech/language disorders
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify and evaluate speech, language, and communication needs of elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote optimal student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and strategies
