Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC license required
- Certified and licensed to practice in school settings
- Previous experience with elementary-age children preferred
- Strong understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for speech/language disorders
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify and evaluate speech, language, and communication needs of elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and strategies
