Step into a rewarding part-time contract role providing life-changing speech-language pathology services to students in the Andover, KS area. This opportunity is designed for an experienced, certified SLP-CCC looking to make a meaningful impact, supporting a caseload most likely consisting of middle and elementary school students. You will work closely with educational teams, utilizing your expertise to foster student growth in communication, social, and academic skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Appropriate state licensure for SLP practice, submitted prior to consideration
  • Previous school-based experience, ideally across elementary and/or middle age groups
  • Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills

Position Highlights & Responsibilities:

  • Part-time schedule: Wednesday and Friday each week, approximately 15 hours
  • Anticipated caseload covers middle and possibly elementary school students (details TBD)
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services and support individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Conduct assessments and create tailored intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor and document student progress
  • Contribute expertise in planning and delivering targeted communication interventions
