Step into a rewarding part-time contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) serving students in a vibrant high school setting. This opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in school-based therapy who are ready for a short-term maternity leave assignment. The position begins as early as late September to allow for a 1-2 week shadowing period with the current SLP before officially starting October 4, 2026, and will conclude December 23, 2026. Enjoy a three-day workweek, supporting student growth while maintaining a flexible, balanced schedule.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid CCC-SLP credential required
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in both direct therapy and consultative roles
  • Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proactive with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to provide professional references prior to an offer

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve a caseload of 46 students with a blend of direct therapy and consultation
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, maintain thorough documentation, and collaborate with educators
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations as needed
  • Support students’ communication goals within a supportive high school environment
  • Flexible approach—approximately 20 hours per week, schedule may adjust based on completion of duties
  • Attend in-person or virtual interviews at the client’s request
