An exciting contract opportunity is available for talented speech-language pathologists who are passionate about supporting students in educational settings. This role will focus on serving a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students, with a primary emphasis on those in middle school or high school. Flexibility with population and age groups is appreciated, but comfort working with adolescent learners is highly desirable.
The assignment begins August 24, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027. A weekly commitment of 37.5 hours is expected, allowing you to engage deeply with each student’s development while maintaining a predictable schedule.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) holders strongly preferred; will also consider strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
- Prior experience or interest in school-based SLP services
- Practical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation for pediatric or adolescent caseloads
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, staff, and families
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct and indirect therapy for students with diverse communication needs
- Conducting thorough evaluations and maintaining case records
- Developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting social communication, language, and articulation goals for students
- Consulting and collaborating with educators to optimize communication supports
