Passionate about helping students find their voice and thrive in school? Full-time Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity involves providing dedicated onsite support at several elementary schools in a vibrant, supportive community near Andover, MN.
You’ll work with diverse caseloads, providing assessments, developing tailored IEPs, and supporting communication needs to help students reach their fullest potential. Openings are available for fully credentialed SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs), with supervision available for those seeking their ASHA CCCs. Your expertise will be valued and your contributions integral to student success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Minnesota SLP license with dual certification; must provide PDF proof upon application
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but new graduates and CFs encouraged to apply
- School-based experience highly desirable, though not required for CFs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students in the school setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain clear, timely documentation
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with special education teams, families, and classroom teachers
- Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Serve as an advocate and resource for students’ communication needs
