Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable providing both direct and consultative speech therapy services

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Deliver therapy services—individual and group—in alignment with IEP goals and best practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and student progress
  • Provide support and resources to classroom teachers, parents, and staff to foster student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary assessments, and professional development opportunities
  • Stay current on advances in speech-language pathology practice within educational settings
