Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required.
  • Current MN SLP license (must be presented with application).
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience providing services in school settings, particularly with early childhood special education populations (ages 3-5), is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to collaborative, family-centered practices.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, individualized and group speech-language therapy to ECSE students.
  • Assess, identify, and document students’ speech-language needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals.
  • Maintain clear and accurate service documentation in line with district standards.
  • Consult with families and educators, offering strategies and supports to promote development and carryover.
  • Fulfill all duties and responsibilities as a valued member of the early childhood team for three days each week (22.5 hours), Monday through Friday.
