Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active CCC–SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Previous experience with pediatric populations, preferably within K–8 school settings
  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Minnesota
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt practices for diverse learners and varying severity of speech/language needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K–8 students
  • Administer evaluations, write individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in alignment with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with teachers and support staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with timelines for reports and IEPs
  • Engage with families to support student development and generalize skills across settings
