School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Andover, Minnesota

A rewarding opportunity awaits for an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working in an elementary school setting. This full-time contract position begins in April and continues through May 28, 2027, serving young learners in a supportive educational environment. Engage with elementary-aged students, making a tangible difference in their communication skills and overall academic experience.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active SLP licensure (CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcome)
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and case management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
• Passion for fostering student growth in a diverse classroom setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students
• Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with school guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations to educational staff and parents
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other specialists to ensure student success
• Create engaging and age-appropriate therapeutic activities
• Support a positive learning environment while managing a caseload of approximately 37.5 hours per week
