Make a positive difference in students’ lives by supporting their communication and language development throughout the upcoming school year. You will work on-site, collaborating closely with staff and families to develop and deliver individualized therapy plans for a caseload of approximately 60 students. This full-time position allows you to apply your expertise in school-based speech-language pathology in a vibrant educational setting.
Ideal candidates bring experience in educational or pediatric environments and a passion for helping children succeed academically and socially. This contract role ensures you’ll be around for the full academic year, building meaningful rapport with your students and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license as an SLP; CCC highly preferred (open to CFY candidates)
- Previous experience in schools, healthcare, or pediatrics
- Experience or comfort working with caseloads in a school environment
- Knowledge of best practices in therapy and IEP development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, ensuring each receives appropriate services
- Develop and implement IEP goals, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to staff and families
- Attend and actively participate in IEP and team meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by the district and state
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school
