Key qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure through the state board
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as a valued team member

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Facilitate therapy sessions focused on measurable speech and language goals
  • Thoroughly monitor and document progress to guide students’ growth
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, effective care
  • Involve and inform families, engaging them as partners throughout the therapeutic process
