Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure and current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Early Intervention certification
- Strong foundation in SLP best practices for pediatrics
- Previous experience in school environments is valued, though enthusiastic new graduates (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy sessions virtually to students in school programs
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans for children at various developmental stages
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure therapy aligns with student goals and educational standards
- Complete required assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation promptly and accurately
- Contribute expertise for evaluations, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team planning
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing speech-language pathology services
