Requirements & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure in Iowa
  • Certification through ASHA (CCC-SLP) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is desirable
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop individualized goals and therapy strategies in accordance with IEPs

  • Maintain thorough, accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and required reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
