In this role, you’ll work with a caseload of 45-55 students in grades K-5. With a traditional school schedule and dedicated elementary hours from 8:50 a.m. to 4:10 p.m., you’ll have the structure and consistency you need to focus on transformative student outcomes. Your expertise will help children develop critical communication skills, ensuring they have a strong foundation for academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) accepted
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop personalized intervention strategies
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to elementary students (K-5)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
