Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Ann Arbor, Michigan

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of children by providing speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for both experienced and early-career SLPs, including those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). You'll work with students in grades K-5, managing a caseload of 45-55 students and collaborating with educators and families to support student growth and communication development.

Qualifications & Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA Certification (CCC) or actively pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience with pediatric populations; school-based experience preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills
• Effective communicator with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to use evidence-based practices and adapt to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy to elementary students
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize student support
• Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Employ creative strategies and engaging activities to promote improved communication skills
