Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Strong skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of varying ages
- Design, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
- Provide guidance and education to families and staff on speech-language concerns
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluation and planning
