Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience providing therapy to pediatric populations preferred (schools or healthcare settings)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is valued, though Clinical Fellows are also encouraged
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students ages preschool through high school
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech/language impairments
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
