This contract opportunity is focused on providing Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services in a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role covers a diverse K-12 caseload and requires onsite presence.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Michigan license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Versatility working with K-12 students, addressing a wide range of communication challenges
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work closely with special education teachers and other professionals
- Must be available to work onsite (no virtual/remote options)
- Certification as a Clinical Fellow (CF) is not accepted for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to a diverse group of students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and student evaluations as required
Role Details:
- Contract position running from August 31, 2026 to June 4, 2027
- Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week); part-time candidates will be considered
- Onsite role in a welcoming school environment
