Make a significant impact within the educational community by supporting students’ communication development. This contract opportunity is focused on providing Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services in a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role covers a diverse K-12 caseload and requires onsite presence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Michigan license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Versatility working with K-12 students, addressing a wide range of communication challenges
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work closely with special education teachers and other professionals
  • Must be available to work onsite (no virtual/remote options)
  • Certification as a Clinical Fellow (CF) is not accepted for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to a diverse group of students
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and student evaluations as required

Role Details:

  • Contract position running from August 31, 2026 to June 4, 2027
  • Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week); part-time candidates will be considered
  • Onsite role in a welcoming school environment
