A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students across grades K-12 in an educational setting located in Ann Arbor, MI. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to student development and communication skills within a collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor student progress.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on articulation, language development, fluency, and other communication disorders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide professional recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of educational regulations and IDEA compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
