Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • School-based SLP experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
  • Competency with evaluating, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Effective communicator who can collaborate productively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for student populations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services, individually and in groups, targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and social communication
  • Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Educate staff and parents/guardians on strategies to support language growth
