Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads with flexibility and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and specific therapy goals
  • Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and progress tracking
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise in speech and language development
