Location: Remote (Must Reside in Eastern Time Zone)
School District: Montgomery County Public Schools
Assignment Dates: August 25, 2026 – June 11, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time, 35 Hours per Week 

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) to support students within Montgomery County Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time remote opportunity serving students in the Rockville, Maryland/Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Assignments will be determined based on the clinician's experience, skill set, and geographic location, with supervisor input to ensure the best fit.

Caseload Information

Caseloads vary by assignment and grade level:

• Elementary School: Up to 40 students
• Middle School: Approximately 48 students
• Peak Caseload: Up to 57 students throughout the school year
• Caseloads are expected to start lower at the beginning of the school year

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active Maryland Speech Language Pathology License
• Must be located within the Eastern Time Zone
• Minimum of 3 years of virtual school-based experience post-COVID
• At least 2 years must have been completed within the past 5 years

Credentialing Requirements

• Maryland House Bill Background Check
• Internal Eligibility Interview
