Key Qualifications:
- Hold appropriate state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP/SLPA settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for virtual interventions
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Commitment to providing culturally competent, student-centered care
- Knowledge of IEP processes and progress monitoring strategies
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students, tailored to individual IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and screenings to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement engaging treatment plans, adapting strategies for in-person and virtual environments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers for comprehensive support
- Document progress, maintain compliance with state and district guidelines, and attend IEP meetings as needed
- Support classroom staff in language-rich activities and generalization of skills
- Participate in ongoing professional development as required
