Make a meaningful difference supporting students' communication skills in a welcoming school environment near Anoka, MN. This contract opportunity begins August 24, 2026, and runs through June 4, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour-per-week schedule. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students, with a special emphasis on those comfortable engaging with middle school or high school populations. Flexibility in age groups is available, so you can focus on your areas of interest and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in pediatric settings or school-based roles strongly preferred
- Passion and confidence working with adolescents and teens
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to create engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver speech and language therapy to students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress and success
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt therapy methods for virtual or in-person instruction as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for diverse learners
