Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required
  • Previous experience or strong interest in school-based SLP practice
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Collaborative mindset and dedication to fostering student success

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to students
  • Maintain thorough and accurate student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
  • Provide strategies, tools, and resources for teachers to help students thrive
