Desired Background and Experience:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders for SLP roles
- Valid ASHA CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) for SLPs
- For SLPA candidates: Completion of an accredited SLPA program
- State licensure and/or certification appropriate to school-based practice
- Familiarity with school populations, IEPs, and collaborative therapy planning
- Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse students and interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals as part of the IEP team
- Deliver intervention services—either onsite or via teletherapy—in group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to maximize student potential
- Assist in training staff and supporting carryover of communication strategies in classrooms
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current in the field
