Ideal candidates will have:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist state licensure (Minnesota)
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Professional Educator License—Level 2, 3, or 4 (or eligibility, per Minnesota requirements)
- Experience providing speech and language services in K-12 school settings preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for diverse student populations
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services (individual and small group) aligned to students’ needs
- Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of skills in the classroom and home
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services, progress, and compliance requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, training, and professional development
