Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders (as appropriate for SLP or SLPA roles)
- Valid or eligible licensure and certification to practice in school settings
- Demonstrated experience with school-based speech therapy services
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with exceptional documentation and organizational skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering direct speech-language services to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Documenting and contributing SLP-specific information and goals on IEPs
- Completing thorough and timely evaluations and progress monitoring for students requiring speech-language services
- Writing clear, concise progress reports to demonstrate student growth and inform staff and families
- Collaborating with teachers and educational support staff to promote student success and generalization of skills within the classroom setting
