Candidates with strong clinical backgrounds in pediatric speech-language pathology, including those holding or pursuing their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), are encouraged to consider this exciting role. Experience working with school-aged children is particularly valued, as you’ll be collaborating with teachers and families to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Eligibility for or possession of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in progress (CFY)
- Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills specific to educational settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct assessments and assist in determining eligibility for services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress monitoring and compliance reporting
