Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist serving a dedicated ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) caseload of children ages 3–5. This contract opportunity spans 12 weeks, providing critical support to students during a long-term leave. Spend three days a week working directly with young learners, fostering crucial speech and language development that builds strong foundations for lifelong learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
- Previous experience with early childhood or preschool-aged populations preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and early intervention strategies
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt and be resourceful in dynamic school settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to a caseload of children aged 3–5 within the ECSE program
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and compliant records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student needs
- Provide parent education and consultative services as appropriate
In this role, you’ll work on-site at a supportive early childhood center, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling across three workdays per week (22.5 hours total). This position offers an ideal work-life balance and the chance to build lasting rapport with both colleagues and families.
