Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full school year. Two SLP professionals are needed to help shape the communication skills and academic success of students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- California SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with staff, students, and families
- Capable of conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing both direct and consultative therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students with diverse needs
- Administer evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate on team meetings
- Offer guidance and support for teachers and support staff regarding students’ speech and language needs
- Adapt therapy methods to suit each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning environment
- Participate fully in the school community throughout the academic year
