Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full school year. This contract position welcomes both full-time and part-time candidates eager to make a meaningful impact within the school setting. Two SLP professionals are needed to help shape the communication skills and academic success of students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • California SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly valued
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with staff, students, and families
  • Capable of conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing both direct and consultative therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students with diverse needs
  • Administer evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate on team meetings
  • Offer guidance and support for teachers and support staff regarding students’ speech and language needs
  • Adapt therapy methods to suit each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning environment
  • Participate fully in the school community throughout the academic year
